About

Bump Books was established in 2009 as an independent publishing outlet for London based photographer David Solomons. Beginning with the simultaneous release of both Happenstance and Underground this site aims to provide a platform for both previewing and purchasing books and signed prints directly from the photographer.

In 2020 the site was relaunched to create a dedicated shop for the new street photography zine ‘B’. Beginning with the first issue 'The League of Bald Headed Men’ released in November 2019, the zine will showcase a variety of projects from both established and upcoming street photographers.

Submissions

Please note that I generally operate on an invitation only basis. As a general rule of thumb I am only interested in publishing work that fits a specific theme rather than a general portfolio. If you would like to send me a link to your work I will happily consider it, but please be aware I have very limited time to respond to any requests. Projects that either in part or whole ulitlize A.I. technology will not be accepted. Thank you for your interest and support.

Stock

Due to the limited space I have, I initially only order a moderate % of an edition for each zine, so items marked as ‘Out of Stock’ may become available at a later date if space allows. Once the edition has sold out, it will be marked as such in the description.

Terms and Conditions

Delivery

In most circumstances all orders will be shipped within 3 working days of the order being placed using Royal Mail. UK mail is shipped standard second class. European mail is shipped either by Standard Airmail (untracked) or Tracked and elsewhere is shipped Economy (untracked) or Tracked.

Please note that all International free shipping orders between the values of £40.00 and £75.00 come with Standard or Economy shipping regardless of service selected. All orders over the value of £75.00 come with free Tracked shipping as standard. Secure packaging is used to ensure your goods are received in perfect condition.

For all UK deliveries please allow 10 working days for your items to arrive.
For Europe please allow 15 working days for standard airmail service.
For The Rest of the World, please allow 6 weeks.

Please note that imports to E.U. countries may be liable to import duty and other fees.

Cancellation
You can cancel an order and return any goods that may already have been dispatched up to 7 days from receipt of your goods.

Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Payment and refund policy
All book purchases are exempt of VAT.
All print purchases are subject to VAT @ 20% which is included in the price.

If you receive any goods damaged or you have received the wrong items, please contact me as soon as possible providing details of your complaint within 7 days and I will try to rectify your order.

If possible please return any unwanted items in unused condition by reusing the provided packaging and by marking it Return to Sender ensuring the return address printed below is written clearly on the packaging.

Please note that any items returned due to delivery failure will be subject to delivery charges being deducted from any refund given.
